Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Echocardiology Technician specialized in Echo and Radiology to support a 13-week assignment in Tucson, AZ. Expect 4/10 shifts from 0600–1630 with on-call coverage across nights and weekends.

The role requires performing adult 2D echo, contrast studies, bubble study, post-cath and post-op echoes, and advanced measurements including LV/RV strain and PISA calculations while assisting physicians with TEE imaging.

Qualifications

• Experience performing adult 2D echocardiography.
• Proficiency with contrast-enhanced echo imaging.
• Ability to assess complex echo findings and assist physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult 2D echocardiography with and without contrast.
• Conduct treadmill stress echo: setup, imaging at rest and during stress.
• Perform dobutamine stress echo: setup, imaging at rest and during stress.
• Assist with transesophageal echo (TEE) imaging and setup.
• Assess for pericardial effusion and calculate LV/RV strain.
• Document findings and ensure image quality for interpretation.
• Support on-call duties and night/weekend coverage as assigned.

Duration: 13 Weeks

On Call: Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends

The Echo traveler needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:

• 1.Adult 2D echo
• a. with use of contrast agent
• b. bubble study
• c. Post cardiac cath
• d. Post surgical echo
• e. assessment of pericardial effusion
• f. pericardiocentesis imaging
• g. calculating LV and RV strain
• h. diastology with TDI
• i. PISA calculations
• j. Biplane measurementsfor EF
• 2.Treadmill stressecho, set-up, resting and stress imaging
• 3.Dobutamine stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging
• 4.Transesophageal Echo (TEE), set up , image acquisition, physician assistance
