Job Description
Echocardiography provides non-invasive imaging technology (sonography) to analyze a patients heart, specifically the function of the veins, arteries, chambers and valves, assisting the physician to diagnose heart disease.
Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International registry. Sonography registered. Must complete specialty certification within 18 months of hire date (General, Abdomen, Cardiac (Echo), Vascular, Breast, Fetal, Pediatric, Pelvic, Small Parts or OB/GYN). 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
