Bayhealth Medical Center in Delaware is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to perform direct patient cardiac imaging with skill and reliability at the Kent and Sussex campus locations.

You will perform transthoracic and transesophageal studies, IV contrast, Holter and stress test preparation, ensure correct charging and scheduling, and uphold infection control. You will also mentor students and collaborate with cardiology staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Credential: BLS and Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS.
• Experience: Two years hands-on echocardiography.

Responsabilités

• Perform echocardiogram studies including Transthoracic, M-Mode and Doppler.
• Perform IV contrast administration and agitated saline studies.
• Conduct related cardiac diagnostic tests (EKG, Holter, stress tests).
• Ensure accurate scheduling, charging and patient data in hospital systems.
• Maintain infection control practices and supervise student preceptorship.
