Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, under the direction of a cardiologist.

You will acquire and analyze images to support diagnosis and treatment planning, document preliminary findings, and communicate with the interpreting physician. Demonstrates service excellence; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Echocardiography Program.
• RDCS or RCS certification required (ARDMS or CCI).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical echocardiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
• Acquires and analyzes images to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Documents preliminary findings and communicates with interpreting physician.
• Demonstrates service excellence at all times; other duties may be assigned.
