Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms under the direction of a cardiologist. You will acquire and analyze images, document preliminary findings, and communicate with the interpreting physician for review.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical echocardiography experience.
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures (TTE, TEE, stress echocardiograms) under cardiologist supervision.
• Acquire and analyze ultrasound images to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Document preliminary findings and communicate them to interpreting physician for review.
• Demonstrate service excellence and perform other duties as assigned.
