Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Texas seeks an echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging and patient care.

The role requires ARDMS in AE and/or PR, with a pediatric echo substitution option via a pediatric cardiologist statement. A High school diploma and BLS are mandatory; an associate degree echo program is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree echo program preferred or accredited echo training.
• ARDMS in AE and/or PR required.
• Pediatric echo competency can substitute ARDMS with cardiologist note.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred.

Your Job:

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you‘ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
