Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is seeking an Echocardiographer II to join the Echocardiography department in Santa Barbara, CA. You will perform multiple diagnostic echocardiograms and related procedures, calculating measurements used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with potential cardiac symptoms.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS or CCI certification as Cardiac Sonographer with BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonographer program.
• Registered by ARDMS or CCI as Cardiac Sonographer and BLS.
• AHA ACLS certification preferred.
• Operational knowledge of echocardiography equipment.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and arrhythmias.
• Ability to operate computers.
• 3 years of adult echocardiography experience preferred.

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks an Echocardiographer II for theirEchocardiography department responsible forperforming multiple diagnostic related echocardiograms and related procedures. Calculates measurements to obtain data used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with possible cardiac related symptoms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:

• Minimum:Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonographer program.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• Minimum: Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum:Operational knowledge of echocardiography and electrocardiographic equipment. Knowledge of basic human anatomy and a thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy. Knowledge of basic and advanced arrhythmias. Ability to operate computers.

Years of Related Work Experience:

• Preferred: 3 years of adult echocardiography experience.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity.
