Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Echocardiographer Technician I, also known as an Echo Tech, a diagnostic medical sonographer who specializes in using ultrasound to image the heart and cardiovascular system. Will perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TEE), stress echocardiograms, and other specialized imaging techniques. Will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart conditions by providing detailed images of the heart's structures, chambers, valves, and blood flow.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) American Red Cross or American Heart Association required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Echocardiographer Certificate from Ultrasound school or program
• (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Clinical experience with scanning and patient interaction highly preferred
