The role you’ll contribute:

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer uses Ultrasound to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data to aid physicians in diagnosis while maintaining high standards of patient care.

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
• Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures based on anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information
• Use independent judgment during exams to differentiate normal from abnormal findings
• Analyze sonograms, synthesize information, and communicate findings to physicians
• Coordinate work schedule with Departmental Director or scheduling desk

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School Graduate, completion of an approved medical sonography program
• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in one discipline (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Small Parts, Breast) or eligible with 12 months to register
• BLS certification required
