Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Pocatello, ID seeks a day shift, full-time Echocardiographer / Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac sonography and support patient care.

You will collect data, document procedures, assist physicians, manage scheduling, and help optimize resources in a fast-paced cardiac imaging department.

Certification in ARDMS RDCS or RCS is required or eligibility; BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs all phases of diagnostic medical cardiac sonography to provide high-quality diagnostic exams and patient care.
• Collect Pertinent Data & Document Procedure.
• Assist Physicians with Procedures.
• Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain an effective schedule and revise as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Certified or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.


• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
