Position Overview

We are hiring Echocardiograph Technologists for full-time, part-time, and on-call roles, offering flexible scheduling options.

The Echocardiograph Technologist performs cardiac ultrasound examinations based on physician orders, using advanced ultrasound equipment. The role involves identifying disease presence or absence through knowledge of anatomy and physiology, assisting with invasive procedures, and adapting procedures to provide clinically useful information efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders.
• Assist with invasive echocardiography, including transesophageal, contrast-enhanced, stress, and other specialized procedures.
• Modify procedures to meet specific circumstances and ensure valuable clinical information.
• Collaborate with physicians for accurate and timely diagnoses.
• Maintain high standards and comply with departmental policies.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Sonographer in Cardiac Sonography or related field.
• Certification in national cardiac sonography or registered diagnostic cardiac sonography.
• Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• At least one year of cardiovascular ultrasound experience or a minimum of 800 exams.
• Experience in pediatric echocardiography.
• Knowledge of imaging support for advanced heart failure, including mechanical devices.
• Experience with echo-guided trans-catheter procedures.
