Job summary

Providence is seeking an Echocardiograph Technologist for Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA. This part-time role involves 8-hour day shifts, delivering cardiac ultrasound diagnostics under physician order with support from the Imaging Management team.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound program, hold ARDMS and/or CCCI certifications upon hire, and possess BLS certification with at least 1 year of Echo experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer required upon hire
• CCCI Certification required upon hire
• BLS certification required upon hire
• 1 year experience in Echo imaging preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician
• Operate echocardiography equipment with minimal supervision from Imaging Management

The Echo technologist is an individual who performs cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures as ordered by a staff physician with minimal supervision from the Imaging Management team.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school of Medical-Cardiac Ultrasound, or Equivalent training
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography , or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year experience
