Qualifications

  • 2 years of Performing cardiac ultrasound in a clinic setting.
  • Successful completion of an echocardiography ultrasound technology program.
  • Clinic experience.

Job description

Description

Under the general direction of the supervisor and reporting to the director, the Echo Technologist performs/is responsible for echocardiographic exams in accordance with hospital and departmental standards. Completes all phases of exams and assists with other Heart Institute procedures and patients as needed. .

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an echocardiography ultrasound technology program.

  • National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

  • Clinic experience.

  • 2 years of Performing cardiac ultrasound in a clinic setting.

  • Electronic troubleshooting experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Performing neonate/pediatric echocardiograms.
