Providence Medford Medical Center is seeking an EchocardiographTechnologist for the Per Diem/Day Shift to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams and assist in invasive echocardiography procedures. The role requires multiple professional credentials and a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify disease and ensure high-quality imaging.
The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to patient-focused care and will operate across a variety of ultrasound systems, adapting
Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment. Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography. Has the ability to modify procedures, to meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
