Job summary

Merrimack Health is seeking an Echocardiogram Technician to perform echocardiograms, TEEs, and stress tests for in-patients and out-patients in accordance with cardiologist-approved protocols.

Transfer studies to the McKesson Cardiac CPACS and ensure proper documentation. Pediatric experience is preferred, and on-the-job training with proven competency may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• On-the-job training with proven competency may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms (TTEs), trans-esophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and echo stress tests.
• Transfer studies and document properly in McKesson Cardiac CPACS.

Scheduled Hours per Week: 40

Salary Range: $44.70 - $67.05

Merrimack Health is currently offering a sign-on bonus for Echocardiogram Technicianroles, with the amount depending on scheduled hours. Full-timepositions are eligible for an $18,000 bonus.

Position Summary:

As theEchocardiogram Technician, you will performechocardiograms (TTEs), trans-esophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and Echo cardiac stress tests on in-patients and out-patients in keeping with cardiologist-approved protocols.

Transfer studies to and complete proper documentation of these studies the McKesson Cardiac CPACS.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved program in Echocardiography
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Candidates with on-the-job training and proven, documented competency may be considered.

Licensure/Certification:

• A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certification Preferred.
• A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
