Job summary

Gshvin in Vincennes, IN is seeking an Echo/vascular technologist to perform echocardiograms, TEEs, stress echocardiograms, and peripheral arterial/venous exams. You will assimilate data and prepare preliminary reports for the interpreting physician, supporting the cardiothoracic team.

You will assist with interoperative TEE, maintain Echo/Vascular accreditation through ongoing education, and contribute to accurate, efficient patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience performing Echocardiograms, TEEs and Stress Echocardiograms.
• Ability to assimilate data and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
• Maintain Echo/Vascular accreditation education and certification.

Job description

Essential Job Duties:

1. Performs Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echos (TEE), and Stress Echocardiograms.
2. Performs upper and lower extremity Arterial and Venous exams.
3. Performs Carotid Duplex exams.
4. Assimilates data for digital transfer and interpretation by completing calculations and preparing preliminary reports for the interpreting physician.
5. Assists Cardiothoracic Surgeon with interoperative Transesophageal Echos.
6. Maintains required education for Echo/Vascular accreditation.
7. Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.
