Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program or has completed on-the-job experience with ARDMS registry in echo/vascular or registry eligible.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal).
• Able to communicate with hospital management, physicians and technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular and/or echo testing and duties of a Sonographer.
• Follow established testing protocols to produce high-quality images and data.
• Obtain patient history prior to each test and ensure documentation supports the exam.
• Explain procedures to patients and staff; maintain good relationships with clients and co-workers.
• Schedule add-ons and emergency exams to maintain workflow; coordinate with care areas.
• Maintain equipment safety, QC standards, and participate in process improvement.
