Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to provide quality cardiovascular and vascular imaging under supervision. The role requires graduation from an accredited school of sonography, with active ARDMS/CCI certifications and current BLS.

The candidate will perform noninvasive and invasive studies, document findings, and collaborate with cardiology teams to ensure accurate diagnoses. This position emphasizes patient safety, procedural excellence, and ongoing participation in quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• Must maintain ARDMS/CCI certifications as applicable.
• BLS certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive and invasive cardiology and vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
• Solves complex problems and exercises professional judgment in imaging procedures.
• Maintains documentation and ensures accuracy of patient data and images.
• Works with cardiology physicians to perform exams and ensure high-quality studies.
• Adheres to all safety, quality control, and regulatory standards.
