Job summary

Join a leading healthcare provider in Orlando as an Echo/Vascular Sonographer. In this role, you will perform vital echocardiology and vascular exams in a state-of-the-art facility. Qualifications

• Must perform echocardiology and vascular exams, demonstrate competency in relevant procedures.
• Registered in at least one of the cardiovascular registries.
• Experience with carotid and hemodialysis graft procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine echocardiology exams including 2-D and M-Mode imaging.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality checks on sonographic exams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during procedures.

Position Summary

Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is a 285-bed acute care facility serving southwest Orange

Department treats both adults and children, including a “fast track” for minor emergencies, and

Qualifications

Education/Training

Graduate of an accredited school of sonography. Depending on assigned department, meets education/training as required under established current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) guidelines.

Hemodialysis Grafts

Licensure/Certification

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

(ARDMS); and

Registered in Fetal Echocardiography (FE); and/or

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS);

and

Registered in at least ONE of the following registries: Adult Echo (AE), Fetal Echo (FE) or Pediatric Echo (PE); and/or

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer

(RCCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); and/or

Registered in Pediatric Echo and/or Congenital Echo for APH Cardiology Department; and/or

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); and

Registered in at least ONE of the following registries: Vascular, Phlebology, Neurovascular (through The American Society of Neuroimaging (ASNI)); and/or

Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); and

Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Able to perform routine echocardiology exams including, but not limited to, 2-D and M-Mode echocardiography and/or vascular sonography exams including, but not limited to, 2-D and M-Mode Imaging, Color Flow and Spectral Doppler, Carotid Ultrasound,operation and maintenance.

Must demonstrate competency within the first six months of hire in performing at least THREE of the following ECHO and/or Vascular exams: 3-D, Strain, Exercise Stress Echocardiography, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography, TAVR, Mitral Clip, Complex Valve, Watchman, Post Processing, Contrast Studies, Agitated Saline Studies, Transesophageal (TEE), Surgical TEE, Simple Cardiac
