Job summary

Starling Physicians in Avon, CT, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive tests, obtain diagnostic echocardiography images, and support patient safety and privacy in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates will have ARDMS/CCI registry, 0–4 years of experience, and familiarity with cardiac testing equipment and EHR systems. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Active Registry through CCI or ARDMS for Adult Echocardiography required.
• 0–1 years experience required; 2–4 years experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing required.
• Working knowledge of Cardiac Ultrasound & Cardiac Testing Equipment.
• Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and Departmental/Ancillary Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers a variety of non-invasive tests using ultrasound technology.
• Provides excellent diagnostic echo images, correct views and accurate measurements for transthoracic echoes, stress echoes, bubble studies.
• Reports abnormalities promptly to the physician.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy; educates patients on procedures.
