Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive breast imaging in a busy radiology setting. You will follow structured protocols, assist with biopsies, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and care standards.

AR/ RDMS OB/GYN or AB certification and BLS are required, with at least two years in outpatient or hospital ultrasound. Strong English communication and EMR/RIS/PACS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in outpatient or hospital ultrasound imaging.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN or AB is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduated from an accredited Sonography program.
• Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written.
• Advanced computer skills including email, Microsoft applications and EMR/RIS/PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images for interpretation following department policy.
• Obtains patient history and pertinent information; documents it accordingly.
• Communicates with Radiologist and verifies orders; ensures room cleanliness after procedures.
• Follows ultrasound protocols for studies and biopsies as directed by Radiologist.
• Maintains infection control standards and adheres to safety regulations.
