Job summary

Carle Health in Merna, IL seeks an Echo Technologist to perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic tests and assist physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams.

You will be part of a team in the echocardiography laboratory, involved in imaging, data review, and documentation in Epic/Xcelera, with on-call rotations and opportunities for professional growth in cardiovascular services.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification within 30 days.
• ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year.
• Associate degree in Sonography required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
