Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking an Echo Technologist to calibrate and operate imaging systems that capture detailed heart images. You will assess wall motion, valve function, and overall cardiac performance to aid diagnoses. You may assist with stress and other non-invasive tests as needed.

Candidates should have RCDS/RCS credentials and BLS, with a willingness to obtain required certifications within a year. This role offers exposure to advanced imaging in a major Denver-area health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year technical training in an AMA/ACCA Sonographer Program with a Certificate of Completion.
• Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer and BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of recent hospital or clinical experience preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of 12 Lead EKG interpretation.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDCS or RCS certification obtained within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and use medical diagnostic imaging machines to take images of a patient's heart.
• Operate an echocardiography machine to record and assess wall motion, valvular function, and kinesis of the heart.
• Assist with Stress Testing and other non-invasive diagnostic testing per physician requests.
• Demonstrate competency in transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, and pharmacologic stress echocardiography.
