Mercy Hospital Bakersfield seeks a skilled Echo Tech/Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography and support cardiovascular diagnoses. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient comfort and high-quality cardiac imaging.
Responsibilities include selecting proper probes, transmitting images to PACS, and troubleshooting equipment while maintaining clear communication with the care team.
As our Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
