Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking an Echocardiography Sonographer to perform ultrasound and vascular imaging in a collaborative cardiovascular department. You will work with advanced technology including Philips Epiq systems and EPIC EMR, joining a team of cardiologists, sonographers, and nurses in a dynamic setting.

The role supports structural heart procedures, with flexible scheduling options and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate or graduation eligible from an approved school of medical sonography.
• Experience: one year ultrasound or no experience with education requirement.
• Echo registry preferred within 1 year of graduation or within 2 years of cross-training start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Conduct dobutamine and exercise stress testing.
• Perform Definity contrast and saline bubble studies.
