Job summary

Memorial Health in Springfield, IL seeks an Ultrasound Sonographer to perform cardiac ultrasound exams including TTE, stress echo, and TEE, with PACS reporting and image processing. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the sonographer team to ensure a superior patient experience.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and registry eligibility; new graduates may be eligible for credentialing within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• Must be registry eligible at time of hire/transfer.
• New graduate sonographer up to 6 months ARDMS/CCI credential transfer time.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient history and clinical data to facilitate diagnostic results.
• Perform transthoracic echocardiography, stress echoes and TEE as required.
• Provide summaries of technical findings to interpreting physicians.
• Maintain equipment and infection control practices per department policy.
• Participate in ongoing education, accreditation, and quality review processes.
