Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced diagnostic setting. You will follow established protocols, position patients, and ensure image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification or eligibility, 1 year of ultrasound experience or completion of an approved program, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate or graduation eligible from an approved school of medical sonography.
• Experience may be substituted for applicants that have not successfully completed a formal education program in medical sonography.
• Two years dedicated sonography imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound/sonography exams following established policies and protocols to produce optimal imaging.
• Prioritize patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort while obtaining diagnostic images.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and image storage according to department guidelines.
