Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiography exams on incoming patients, respond to questions, and protect patient confidentiality while handling all required paperwork efficiently.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT/ARDMS certifications (or registry eligible), CPR, a high school diploma or GED, and maintain applicable licenses; you will produce high-quality images, support physicians, and deliver compassionate patient care in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(S) and ARDMS certifications (or ARDMS Registry Eligible).
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification required.
• Maintain license and continuing education per state and federal rules.
• Ability to relate to the public with professionalism and respect.
• Familiarity with specialized ultrasound equipment.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to interact with physicians and staff.
• Ultrasound program completion or applicable registrations may be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiography procedures per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assists cardiologist with ultrasound-guided Echo Stress Test.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Maintains patient privacy and proper documentation.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner.
• Under supervision, collaborates with radiologists on appropriate scanning procedures.
• Keeps exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Releases patients with follow-up information; supports project tasks as needed.
