CHI St. Vincent Health in Arkansas is seeking an Echo Tech/Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures and capture high-quality cardiac images. You will operate ultrasound equipment daily, ensuring patient comfort and executing a range of echocardiographic studies.

The role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, technical proficiency, and effective communication with patients and physicians. This is a PRN/part-time position with hourly pay in a hospital setting.

Competenze

• Two years of college with emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics.
• Completion of 18 contact hours in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 12 months.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support - CPR within 30 days.

Mansioni

• Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing (M-Mode, 2D, color flow, Doppler, echo stress testing, transesophageal echo, EKG, Holter).
• Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. PRN rate $38.50/flat

Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.

To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

• Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, two dimensional, color flow mapping, cardiac doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophagealecho, stress testing, EKG, and Holter application.
• Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures
• Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians.
• Maintains echo equipment
• Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed

Job Requirements

Required

• Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medicalsciences and mathematics., upon hire and
• Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours ofin-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Preferred

• Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiovascular ultrasound

Pay Range

$31.53 - $46.90 /hour
