Job summary

Texas Transplant Physician Group in Boerne, TX is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our on-site team for a full-time, Monday–Friday day shift. No nights, no on-call, no weekends or holidays.

You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician direction and schedule patients accordingly. The ideal candidate has at least one year of ultrasound experience with current ARRT/ARDMS certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
  • Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations.
  • Current ARRT or ARDMS license is required.
  • State licensing requirements may vary by state (see note).

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians.
  • Schedule patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures.
  • Position patients and select the appropriate transducer.
  • Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment and adjust settings.
  • Manage processing and documentation including developing film and ensuring records are correct.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faults.
  • Adhere to Code of Conduct and Mission and Values Statements.

Seeking anUltrasound Technologist/Ultrasound Sonographerfor ourpractice who provides specializedexpertiseto ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

  • Perform ultrasonic medicaldiagnostic procedures as directed by physicians

  • Schedule patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures

  • Position patients and select theappropriate transducer

  • Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasoundequipmentby moving scanner over specified body area and adjustingsonographerequipmentto focus

  • Manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correct

  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipment

  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values Statements

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Minimum ofoneyear of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer isrequired
  • Minimum ofoneyear of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer isrequired
  • Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordancewithstate regulations
  • CurrentARRT or ARDMS license isrequired.
  • FLORIDA ONLY: Mustpossessa current and unrevoked ARDMS.
  • TENNESSEE ONLY: Mustpossessa state license to perform imaging procedures in a physician practice
