Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited echocardiography program with 800 clinical hours.
• DMEDSON or RDCS or CCI certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred, not required.
• 1 year echo experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms (TTE/TEE) and stress echos.
• Maintain equipment and report issues per policy.
• Ensure patient safety and correct placement during testing.
• Enter measurements in 2-D and M-mode per protocol.
• Prepare preliminary reports in the designated system before physician read.
