Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to support physicians in performing echocardiography testing for our patients and communities.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Echocardiography or related field with RDCS or RDMS certification; two years of clinical experience is preferred. Day shifts, hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography, Doppler, and color flow on all patients.
• Assist physician in cardiac echo stress testing.
• Maintain Philips Affiniti CVX 70 equipment.
• Order supplies for the designated area.
• Support PMC mission by delivering high-quality patient care.

What will you do as aPMC Echocardiography Technician

As a PMC Echocardiography Technician, you will serve as an essential part of the patient’s experience by assisting the PMC physicians in conducting echocardiography testing of the patients.

A day in the life of a PMC Echocardiography Technician may include:

• Performing echocardiography, doppler, and color flow on all patients.
• Assist the physician in cardiac echo stress testing.
• Maintaining the Philips Affiniti CVX 70 equipment necessary for all echo testing.
• Ordering supplies needed for designated area.
• Being a key piece in the PMC mission by providing the highest quality of care to our patients and the communities we serve.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Echocardiography or a related field required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.

Shift: Day Shift (Monday through Friday) no weekends or holidays

Pay Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt)
