Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Echo Tech IHA in Arkansas to operate echocardiography equipment and produce detailed heart images per protocol. The role supports patient care and requires timely documentation.

Required ARDMS/CCI registry eligibility or 2 years of cardiac sonography experience, an Associate's Degree in Sonography (Bachelor preferred), and CPR certification. Flexible shift with as-needed hours and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Sonography or related field (Bachelor preferred).
• Registry eligible Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS or CCI is acceptable with 2 years cardiac sonographer experience.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography to acquire detailed images of the heart per approved protocols.
• Respond to patient needs and complete proper documentation.
• Provide patient care and ensure accurate imaging and reporting.

Department: Radiology Shift: Varies Working Hours: As needed Summary: The Electrocardiogram (Echo) Technologist uses ultrasound technology to create detailed sonographic images of the patient's heart per approved protocols. They respond to the patient's needs and complete proper documentation.

Other information:

• Registry eligible Cardiac Sonographer, ARDMS or CCI.
• 2. An Associate's Degree in Sonography or related field. Bachelor degree preferred. (Degree requirement may be waived if ARDMS or CCI registered with 2 years of cardiac sonographer experience.)
• 3. CPR Certified

This job will be authorized 16.00 hours bi-weekly.
