The George Washington University Hospital is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform diagnostic echo studies and complete reports in a high-quality cardiovascular program.

Responsibilities include conducting non-invasive tests such as stress tests and electrocardiograms as competency permits, with emphasis on accuracy and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Formal training in diagnostic cardiac sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certificate preferred.
• 2 years of recent cardiac sonography experience or equivalent training.

Position Summary

Responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms, testing and completion of reports. May also perform other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests (stress tests and electrocardiograms) as identified by competency skills assessments

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate preferred
• 2 years of recent cardiac sonography experience or comparable training/experience
