Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking an Ultrasound Supervisor to lead the Ultrasound department, ensuring timely imaging, high-quality studies, and compliance with accreditation standards.
Under radiologist direction, you will plan, organize, and direct staff, manage scheduling and staffing, oversee quality improvement, and mentor technologists to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment.

The Sonography supervisor is responsible for management of all clinical and non- clinical operations within the Ultrasound department. Performs Ultrasound imaging as per MDC policies and procedures. Formulates policies and procedures as per industry standards which contribute to the mission of the organization. Maintains operations for appropriate modality accreditations. The Sonography supervisor assumes responsibility and accountability for operations within the department to include the ability to plan, organize and direct the activities of others. Under the direction of a radiologist, performs Ultrasound scans at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed sonography for diagnosis. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.

Education: Completion of formal training in an AMA approved school.
Experience: 3 years Ultrasound experience to include Vascular sonography, Supervisory Experience preferred. Written and verbal communication, Decision-making, Interpersonal skills, Adaptability, Time management, Conflict resolution, Cooperation, Mentorship, Positivity, Willingness to learn
License or Registration Requirements: Registered by and in good standing with the ARDMS . CPR Certified.
