Job summary
A healthcare facility in Aiken, South Carolina is looking for a Tech - Echo to perform non-invasive cardiovascular ultrasound studies, including echo and stress tests. Candidates should have a degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent training, and must obtain registry within one year of hire. BLS and ACLS certification is required, with a preference for two to four years of experience. Qualifications
Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent formal training if certified.
College level courses in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology preferred.
RDCS or RCS registry eligible; RVT or RVS registry eligible.
Must obtain registry within one year of hire.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Two to four years’ experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform non-invasive cardiovascular ultrasound studies like echo and stress echo.
Communicate preliminary results to patients when authorized.
Perform cardiac imaging procedures according to established protocols.
Assist with VNUS and/or Laser and Phlebectomy procedures.
Take appropriate actions during patient emergency situations.
