Job summary

Grace Federal Solutions is seeking an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer in Columbia, South Carolina. The successful candidate will perform noninvasive diagnostic imaging to evaluate heart functions and work closely with cardiologists while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Applicants must have dual certification in echocardiography and vascular technology and at least two years of relevant experience. This position offers a night shift covering Saturday through Monday.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience required in a relevant field.
• DUAL CERT (ECHO & VASCULAR) IS REQUIRED.
• Registered in vascular technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS).
• Registered in echocardiography (ARDMS-AE and/or ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCS).
• BLS certification required.

Role Overview

This role involves performing noninvasive diagnostic imaging of the heart using ultrasound to evaluate cardiac structure and function. The role also involves preparing patients, capturing high‑quality echocardiograms, and working closely with cardiologists to help diagnose and monitor heart conditions while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions.
• DUAL CERT (ECHO & VASCULAR) IS REQUIRED.
• Registered in vascular technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS).
• Registered in echocardiography (ARDMS-AE and/or ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCS).
• Certificates Required: BLS.
• 1 year EPIC Charting System Experience preferred.
• Education – associate degree. Graduate of a formal sonography program.
• Experience - One (1) year cardiac and vascular sonography experience performing non‑invasive lab studies. Clinical rotations during a formal educational program may be considered as related experience.
• In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, may consider five (5) years of dedicated cardiovascular lab experience.
• In Lieu Of the Educational requirements above, completion of a Director approved sonography program may be considered.

Schedule

Shift: Night 3×12‑Hour SAT / SUN / MON (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Call: No
