Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Echo Tech to perform diagnostic echocardiography, including transesophageal and transthoracic imaging. You will maintain records, assist in supplies, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver excellent patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an approved echocardiography program, ARDMS RDCS / CCI RCS registrations (or eligible), and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved echocardiography and/or non-invasive vascular ultrasound training program.
• Must have ARDMS (RDCS) / CCI (RCS) registration, or be eligible to obtain at time of hire.
• ARDMS (RDCS) / CCI (RCS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Transesophogeal and transthoracic cardiac ultrasound images.
• Maintains daily record, assist in stocking supplies and providing excellent patient care.
• This position requires the technologist to be able work closely with Physicians, nursing staff and independently.
• Position may require working evenings, weekends, holidays and provide call back service.
