Job summary

ACHE in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift Echo Tech to join our full-time team. The role focuses on performing echocardiographic imaging and supporting patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Candidates should have a 2-year related degree (or equivalent Echocardiography training), must obtain BLS within 14 days, and ideally have 1 year of echocardiography experience. This position offers a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 year degree in related field, or equivalent from an accredited Echocardiography program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support patient care.
• Perform cardiac testing procedures such as Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring, and Pacemaker checks to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• 2 year degree in related field
  • May substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One-year experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
