Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift Echo Tech Sonographer in Topeka, KS. This PRN role requires completing an echocardiography exam and related cardiac testing to support high-quality patient care.

The candidate should have a 2-year degree in a related field, or equivalently graduated from an accredited Echocardiography Technology program, plus BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Formación

• Must have 2 year degree in related field or graduation from an accredited Echocardiography Technology program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to direct patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Perform echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
• Conduct cardiac testing procedures such as Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring Scanning, and Pacemaker checks.
• Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and provide reassurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
• Perform cardiac testing procedures such as Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring Scanning, and Pacemaker checks to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• 2 year degree in related field
  • May substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One-year experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
