In this multi-site position, you will perform high-quality diagnostic echo procedures, assist physicians with guided interventions, generate preliminary reports, and ensure an exceptional patient experience across three local centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures applying prescribed Doppler, transthoracic, and specialized sonographic techniques across assigned center locations.
  • Thrive in an indirect management environment, taking full ownership of patient scheduling flow, clinical quality, and daily imaging operations without the need for direct day-to-day oversight.
  • Select appropriate transducers and calibrate equipment controls according to target anatomy, depth of field, and specific examination protocols.
  • Prepare detailed preliminary ultrasound reports, measurements, and diagnostic impressions for reviewing physicians in a timely manner.
  • Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided biopsies, invasive cardiac procedures, and contrast material administration as needed.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients, address clinical concerns, and accommodate age-specific needs to ensure a safe, comfortable diagnostic experience.
  • Enter test parameters and patient clinical data accurately into EMR/PACS systems; maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control/PPE standards.
Qualifications

  • Active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential required, OR registry-eligible with board certification obtained within one (1) year of eligibility.
  • Active state licensure or permit to practice medical imaging in accordance with state regulations.

  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience working as an Imaging Technologist / Cardiac Ultrasound Sonographer.
  • Management Style Fit: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and decisively under indirect management, exhibiting strong critical thinking, clinical autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • Physical & Interpersonal Capabilities: Excellent patient communication skills; ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and moving equipment or assisting patients up to 50 lbs.
  • Base pay with potential eligibility for performance bonus structures.
  • A collaborative, independent clinical setting built for experienced technologists who thrive without micro-management.
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options.
  • Retirement savings plan options, paid time off (PTO), and recognized company holidays.
  • Support for ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
