Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Echocardiography Technologist to support our Cardiopulmonary Department. You will perform ultrasound studies, assist physicians with procedures, and contribute to accurate measurements of cardiac structures.

The role emphasizes quality patient care, teamwork, and efficient clerical workflow. Experience in cardiology and ARDMS/CCI eligibility is valued; per diem schedule typically includes Day shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training.
• Current BCLS certification upon hire.
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing.
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
• AR DMS or CCI certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow.
• Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
• Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and dispersion.

• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current required
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing required
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred
• Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI Required within 90 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills.
