Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day-shift Echocardiography (Echo) Lab Tech for a full-time role.

You will perform ultrasound imaging of the heart to assist physicians with diagnosis and ensure patient safety by following hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Qualified candidates will have an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS/CCI certification, with NM licensure within one year and BLS ready within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI.
• One year of experience in the healthcare/hospital environment.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registration or eligibility.
• Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire.
• Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing ultrasound imaging of the patient's heart to assist physicians with the diagnosis of the patient. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
