Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS), a subsidiary of Catalyst MedTech, is seeking a registered Cardiovascular Sonographer for per diem daytime shifts in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Enjoy a schedule with no weekends or on-call duties and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required.
• 1 year of Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound experience.
• Proficiency in strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, Definity contrast, and IV placement.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams following protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure optimal imaging and experience.
• Obtain patient history and present key findings to interpreting physician.
• Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and report malfunctions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience.
• Obtain a thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician.
• Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
• Conduct work in a sterile environment based on established protocols and client processes.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance is up-to‑date and immediately reporting any malfunctions or concerns.
• Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care.
• Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner.
• Maintain standards of ethical professionalism at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus
• Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
• 1 year of Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, Definity contrast, and IV placement
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License

Working Conditions:

Work is performed at outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician office settings with moderate to high patient volume. Sonographers must travel in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for periods of time.
• Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
