Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Level III to perform Echocardiogram or TTE exams with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging across inpatient and procedural areas.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of full-time sonography experience, ARDMS/CCI certification, and BLS. This role contributes to high-quality patient care within a world-class cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 2-year diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Current ARDMS/CCI certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-time sonographer required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echocardiogram or TTE exams with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging in inpatient settings and across the Medical Center.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation and data management.
• Maintain competency and adherence to procedural standards across all cardiology ultrasound areas.

Summary of Essential Duties:

As a Cardiac Sonographer Level III, you will be responsible for performing Echocardiogram or TTE exams, with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging in the inpatient setting throughout the Medical Center and procedural areas, recovery rooms and Emergency Department. We are seeking an experienced Sonographer who can demonstrate proficiency in the performance of all procedures and competency in the use of all related ultrasound equipment and computers.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited 2-year diagnostic medical sonography program required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current ARDMS/CCI certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-time sonographer required
