Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital is seeking a dedicated Echo/PV Sonographer to join our team. This full-time day position includes PRN on-call duties, with a family-oriented environment and opportunities for advancement within a physician-owned hospital.

The role requires RDMS or RDCS registration and RVT certification for vascular studies. You will work with a skilled team to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging and patient care across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Accredited course for national and/or state registry.
• RDMS or RDCS registration required for general ultrasound/echocardiograms.
• RVT certification required for vascular studies.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment for each procedure.
• Report to workstation on time and remain at workstation until relief.
• Follow prescribed safety standards and confidentiality rules.
• Complete all forms for each study and coordinate with physicians.
• Follow department policies and time/attendance procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement and quality control projects.
• Maintain licensure and certifications for all modalities.
• Report mechanical or system problems to the Director.
• Demonstrate professional demeanor with staff, patients and physicians.
• Report incidents within 24 hours using proper forms.
