HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City is seeking an Echo and Vascular Tech Reg PRN to support imaging services and patient care.

This role requires BCLS within 30 days, RVT/RDCS/RCS credentials, and a registered cardiac sonographer. Responsibilities include teamwork with the care team, maintaining high service standards, and adhering to safety and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RVT (RDCS) or RCS credentials preferred or required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.

Responsibilities

• Support the imaging program and hospital staff in a multi-disciplinary care approach.
• Provide outstanding service to patients, physicians, staff and guests.
• Demonstrate initiative, complete tasks and seek guidance when needed.
• Maintain awareness of own limitations and seek guidance as appropriate.
• Prioritize activities based on service demands and patient needs.
• Detect and correct errors in own and others' work.
• Protect patient rights, confidentiality and informed decision making.
• Be aware of resources for ethical concerns and make referrals when needed.
• Practice cost-efficiency and adhere to established standards.
• Perform technical skills proficiently with annual validation processes.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer Required
