eChannels Systems Specialist
Primary Job Duties
System Configuration & Optimization
- Application Ownership: Manage and configure core software for Online/Mobile Banking, Treasury Management, and Debit Processing (ATMs, Cards) to ensure 24/7 availability.
- Business Intelligence: Proactively identify business requirements and opportunities for process improvement across all eChannel platforms.
- UX Enhancement: Continuously evaluate current system functionality and recommend architectural or interface changes to improve the overall customer experience.
- Tier 3 Support: Serve as the final Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the resolution of complex eChannel’s issues escalated by management or technical teams.
Project Management & Implementation
- End-to-End Execution: Lead the full project management lifecycle for assigned domestic and multinational initiatives, from initial scoping to post-launch review.
- Technical Transitions: Coordinate all functions related to system upgrades, new feature releases, and core conversions, ensuring zero-to-minimal disruption for clients.
- SLA Management: Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between eChannel’s and internal departments to maintain operational excellence.
- Regulatory Vigilance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system advisories, industry trends, and federal regulations affecting digital products and policies.
- Audit Readiness: Prepare and provide all necessary documentation for internal audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
- Data Integrity: Enforce strict adherence to bank policies regarding risk management and the confidentiality of sensitive customer information.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Workforce Resilience: Design and implement cross-training programs for Electronic Banking and Product Payment teams to ensure seamless coverage and operational continuity.
- Inter-departmental Education: Function as the primary trainer for other bank departments, ensuring staff are proficient in the features, security protocols, and benefits of eChannel/IT services.
- Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
- Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Industry Tenure: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Electronic Banking or Payment Products, with deep functional knowledge of ATM/Debit card networks, Online/Mobile Banking, and Treasury Management.
- Project Mastery: Proven experience in the end-to-end implementation of banking products and system integrations.
- Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish) with the professional ability to read, write, and speak both languages fluently in a business and technical context.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to leverage data for reporting and presentations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of State and Federal banking regulations (e.g., Reg E, NACHA, BSA/AML, and PCI-DSS) as they relate to digital channels.
