Eden Prairie Schools seeks an ECFE Children's Teacher (Birth to Age 5) for a long-term substitute (.23 FTE) for the 2026-2027 school year at the Community Education Building. Expected start January 4, 2027 with approximate end May 6, 2027 and about 77 days of work based on the schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in education and Minnesota teaching credentials by January 4, 2027; license in process is acceptable. Salary placement follows the BA/MA scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in the educational field.
• Applicants who will hold the following credentials by January 4, 2027 are welcome to apply; license in process acceptable.
• Minnesota lifetime substitute license if previously held a MN teaching license (Tier 3, Tier 4 or 5-year standard) aligned to Early Childhood Education or Parent and Family Education.

Responsibilities

• ECFE Classroom teaching for 2–4 year olds (21.25 hours per week) across 9 classes.
• Adhere to the schedule: Mon–Fri mornings as listed and maintain program standards for birth to age 5 ECFE education.

Education

Bachelor's degree in educational field

Minnesota Teacher License: Early Childhood Education

Parent and Family Education license (preferred)

Minnesota lifetime substitute license
