LEARN Regional Educational Service Center is seeking an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Head Teacher for the Creating Connections Early Learning Center in Waterford, Connecticut.

The role oversees planning and implementing a program for ages eight weeks to three years, ensuring adherence to Center policies, CT Office of Early Childhood Education regulations, and NAEYC accreditation standards. Collaboration with the Site Coordinator is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional childcare experience.
• Current ECE certification/Special Education or ECTC Bachelor level required; traditional route or IRR acceptable in ECE.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Medication Administration and Epi-Pen Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities aligned with NAEYC standards and Center policy.
• Supervise teachers, staff, and volunteers; coach and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards.
• Engage parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and conferences.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per Center policies.
• Lead weekly team meetings for curriculum planning and communications.
• Pursue ongoing professional development; attend workshops.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
